We gutted the original bathroom.  Had a lot of plumbing to do in order to get a slope on the 2nd floor and no curb in the shower. We installed underfloor heating. Tiled, painted, installed a custom vanity with a specially made lighted cabinet for our client’s sand collection

We completely gutted the old bathroom. Built beautiful custom cabinets with lots of storage. Check out the door style.. so pretty.  We enlarged the shower.. installed a freestanding tub.  The walls and floor are the same large format matte tile.

The existing bathroom was compartmentalized and dated.  We removed all the walls. Made an open shower/bath area with new custom vanities.

We redid the entire downstairs of a double story home.  Updated the kitchen by removing walls and making it open plan.  We updated both fireplaces, the staircase.  Our client had been waiting 20 years for her dream kitchen

This home is a work in progress.  Our main colors are navy, orange and pink.  We painted various opposing walls in dark blue/black.. painted the kitchen cabinets and built in white.  The brick fireplace had the hearth removed and was stoned in stacked stone.

The exposed ceiling beams in the livingroom removed as well as a 70’s ledge that hid hideous lighting.

We removed a wall to open up the kitchen area.  Gave her a brand new fantastical kitchen, reconfigured the laundry room to give more storage space and turned the unused dining room into a relaxing reading room.  Updated the fireplace wall, new flooring, updated entry and master bedrooms

This home got an update.  All the dark wood was painted white.  Except for the study.  There we painted my new favorite color... raccoon fur!... the kitchen got new cabinets added to bring all the cabinets to the ceiling.  New quartz, new backsplash and new hardware.  The Island was painted in a Cracked Pepper.  

All the old floors were replaced with a beautiful midtone wood floor... 

The mantel was replaced with a bespoke wood slab.

The guest bathroom got a huge update and we tiled hexagonal black tile creating a feature wall behind the toilet.

This was a new home.  My client’s wanted an elevated space that was still comfortable.  The house is open plan and this room is one of the first seen as you open the front door so we wanted something quiet but impactful too

Fireplaces

This house is the new home of a blended family.  The original  house was dark and outdated and didn’t have any features that made living there convenient.  We started by laying new flooring throughout.  We went with a mixed wood look vinyl.  We installed larger baseboards.  We removed cabinets in the breakfast area that were no longer functional.  We replaced all the lower cabinets in the kitchen with pull out drawers.  It looks so glamorous and there is so much storage now.  We blinged it up with gold hardware and faucet.. replaced the original sink with a farmhouse sink.  The island was custom built to fit an undercounter microwave and fridge. We used a white glass tile in the backsplash.. tiling all the way up to the ceiling.  New quartz countertops really lightened up everything.  The cabinets were painted Ultra white and the island is a refreshing blue.

The guest bathroom was gutted.  Again we used glass tile in a beautiful mid blue and did an interesting pattern.  The fixtures are all gold as well the faucet.  We used a hexagonal tile on the floor.  Painted the walls.

The doors in the entry got replaced with barn doors that we painted a gorgeous blue.  We converted a downstairs study into a bedroom .
We tiled the entryway in a larger hexagonal tile that melts into the vinyl flooring.  

All light fixtures were replaced with crystal and gold ones.

The laundry room was gutted and new cabinetry installed as well as a folding table.  Again we used glass tile as a backsplash.  This time a navy blue.  The folding table was stained and the cabinets sprayed an ultra white.  We used the same hexagonal tile on the floor as we did in the bathroom.

We demolished the old kitchen.  Blocked off the door leading into the study.  Got brand new cabinets with all the bells and whistles installed.  Re-located the fridge and oven, tiled with a wood look tile.  The back splash is a white subway but I love the accent tile under the gorgeous new vent a hood.

We completly gutted this bathroom.  New everything.. yay.  My tiler was not impressed that I chose a glass mosaic tile for the shower.. but we persevered and it is gorgeous!

We added a long niche.

The glass doors came in a kit form.  I think they turned out beautifully.

The cabinets are all new, the traditional 5 tiny door cupboard doors were replaced by 2 long ones.  

We did a grey wood look tile on the floor.

Wooden shelves replaced the old cabinet that sat above the toilet.

This client had a water leak under his floor which grew to us gutting the bathroom.  It had a very small vanity, a low tiny bath only a dog could bath in and a brick planter between the bath and vanity.  So needless to say all was ripped out and very ugly wallpaper was discovered in the process.

We built a nich in the wall above the tub, installed a huge tub you can relax in, installed a freestanding faucet, new vanity, new floors, new mirrors and new lighting.

New home with a Scandinavian feel

This was a new home my client’s purchased that needed updating before they could move in.  I have included some before pictures in the photos.

We demoed old tile and ripped out carpeting.  Painted all the walls a soft non color, painted the kitchen cabinets white, re-tiled the backsplash, updated the fireplace and bought new living room, dining and entryway furniture.  Our accent pillows and throws are fur and we have many pieces of wall art with natural elements.  What a huge improvement if I do say so myself

Our client’s were ready for a huge update in every room of their house.  I do not have photos of everything but the kitchen turned out gorgeously.  Our color scheme was green with copper accents.  The new farmhouse sink and faucets as well as the hardware and lighting were copper.  We used a rustic distressed subway tile on the backsplash and finished it off with a white quartz countertop. 

It looked to pretty we painted the mudroom the same way.

The stairway bannister was updated to a sleek lined wood one.  Barn doors that matched were added as well as a new mantel.  

The flooring for the whole house was changed to a dark woodlook vinyl.  The entire house got new lighting and fans.  We closed off unnecessary doorways.  It took us two months but the end reults was worth it.

DFW Rustic Condo Home Design

My client engaged my services to completely transform his ordinary condominium into something urban and modern.  The focal point of the condo was the12ft  reclaimed wood rustic pallet wall I installed.  I used a lot of natural elements to decorate the condo with: like linen, wool, glass, rope, leather and more reclaimed wood.    The overall effect was very masculine

This project has been a on-going labor of love.  The entire house has been transformed room by room.  Changing it from a dark wood paneled 80's house to a super eclectic light-filled home.

We painted this beautiful mural to look like a watercolor wallpaper.  It turned out magnificently

We totally gutted the old bathroom.  We got rid of the bath and made a lovely walk-in shower.
We fitted a complete porcelain pan to the bottom of the shower.  Tiled with a gorgeous natural stone in blue/grey shades. We built a niche and tiled the back of it in the same tile as the floor.

My carpenter built a floating vanity that we stained and topped with a plain white quartz.

The walls were wrapped in shiplap and painted white.

The floor tile is a natural stone which had a lot of variation.

We added baskets and a ladder for towels to add to the farmhouse feel.

We make faux bricks out of drywall mud that crack and age and we paint them to suit whatever feel you are going for. A warehouse feel or light white bricks.  We can make any fearure wall look amazing

My client lived in a condo that had cement ceilings.  She wanted a wood ceiling but the cement was too hard to drill into.  So we made fake wood out of drywall mud we textured, cut out in plank sizes, painted and aged and added tacks to emulate nails.  You wouldn’t think it isn’t wood

Bathroom Cabinets

We gutted the old dated bathroom completely.  It had a soffit on all 4 walls and lots of wasted space.  We made the shower larger.  Removed the sunken bath, filled in hole in with cement, laid beautiful ceramic tile that looks and feels like stone, installed a freestanding tub.  

The vanity was custom built and my client fell in love with the marble countertops so we installed pieces in the shower and on the vanity.  We used plain glass mirrors, added sconces, built a huge niche above the bath, replaced the old 5 door closet system with two long doors.

The project took about 2 months but it was worth it!!

This house was a new buy for it’s owner.  A neglected older house that has been transformed into a gorgeous home.  This is still a work in progress. Extensive work is being done on the outside as well as inside

We completely changed the look of the fireplace by adding a ledge, squaring off the bottom hearth.  We stuccoed in black and white.. built a custom white oak mantel and added a black marble top to the hearth

We completely gutted the existing bathroom except for their existing built in cabinets.  We updated the doors on those and painted.  We installed underfloor heating ( even in the shower) a new soft close pocket door. The custom vanity has so much storage.

We removed walls to open up the kitchen space, wrapped the ugly water heater storage to incorporate into our design.  We were going to do wood flooring but found this gorgeous marble tile under the old flooring and fell in love

The kitchen, living area were opened up.  We removed a wall and had a custom metal “ artwork” made to look pretty plus support our wall next to the fireplace.  The old brick was painted.  New contemporary tv unit built, kitchen cabinets painted, new funiture, carpets, decor, art and blinds

We had custom crushed gold curtains sewn.  Table base hand carved with a quartz top added.  The base was stained to match the gorgeous chairs we found.  All topped with am amber glass chandelier

The old island had to go.  We replaced it with a huge Texas sized one.  Seating for the whole family!!  New brick backsplash, new light above the island, painted cabinets, new wooden floors, shiplap in the living room… we are “ in love”

My client wanted to lighten her dark wood study.  We painted her built in and all the walls and trim.  New decor, carpet and chair.  Painted the desk… whoo hoo!!

My client wanted a totally new space.  We enlarged the shower, installed a free sranding tub, demolished the old linen cabinet so the new vanity would be the width of the room.  We custom color matched the vanity to the floor tile.  The walls are all white extra large glass tile

My client wanted a larger closet, a calm space, a walk in shower with no tile, hotter water instantly, a bidet, new everything.

We removed the bath and window to make space to move her toilet.  That in turn made room to enlarge her closet. The flooring was extra long ceramic woodlook tile, new custom vanities and beautiful quartz counter tops balanced the look.  The shower walls were a bit of a nightmare as we used a glass product that was extremely delicate.  It turned out elegantly at the end.  My client is absolutely thrilled with her new space.

My client had no storage in her home office.  The room is not very big and we wanted to hide things like file cabinets and printers.  The color just lit up the whole room.  We have loads of storage and the room actually feels larger.  We used gold hardware on the doors.

My client wanted a femine home office that blended with the rest of her home.   We removed old carpet, extended her wood look tile, installed and painted shiplap, chose a gorgeous blue wall paint with matching drapery.  The office chair is upholstered in a fun blue and white fabric.  Brushed nickel lighting added, whitewashed furniture.  So gorgeous!!
